LGBTQ+ travel in Skopje

Skopje’s scene is small but friendly. See our guide to LGBTQ+ friendly bars in Skopje and the wider nightlife guide. As in much of the region, public displays of affection may still attract attention outside the centre – use the same common sense you would anywhere.

Combine Pride with sightseeing

The march passes close to many of the city’s highlights: Macedonia Square, the Stone Bridge, the Old Bazaar and the Mother Teresa Memorial House. June is also the start of the Skopje Summer Festival – see Skopje in summer for more.
