If you’re planning to visit Vodno and the Millennium Cross, please note that the cable car will be temporarily out of service.
The public transport company in Skopje has announced that the cable car to the Millennium Cross will not operate from April 21 to April 24, 2026, due to scheduled maintenance and technical inspection by experts.
The inspection is being carried out by the Austrian company Doppelmayr, which specializes in cable car systems.
Out of service: April 21 – April 24, 2026
Reopens: April 25, 2026 (Saturday)
After this period, the cable car will resume normal operations and continue transporting visitors according to its regular schedule.
What You Can Do Instead
Even while the cable car is not operating, visitors can still enjoy Vodno Mountain by hiking or driving to nearby viewpoints. The area offers beautiful nature, fresh air, and panoramic views of Skopje.
