AERO Street Food Festival Kicks Off – The Urban Festival of Street Food and Music

From 4 to 8 September, visitors can look forward to 20 food brands, live music by local artists, a diverse entertainment programme and free admission for everyone.

It is rare to find fresh sushi, tacos, burgers, gyros, pizza, focaccia, kebapi, pancakes and favourite desserts all in one place in Skopje. From 4 to 8 September, the second edition of AERO Street Food Festival will bring exactly this combination to Avionche Park.

This year, food takes centre stage. Twenty different culinary concepts will offer flavours inspired by cuisines from around the world-from Skopje classics to modern street-food creations.

This year’s participants are: Burgerslut, Mustacos, Loras Sushi, Fat Kitchen, Jojo’s BBQ, Oljo’s, Noa Gyradiko, Scoop, Bistro 64, Smash Burger, Sorelle, 11: Eleven, Sutlijash Bar, 15 za 12, Transilvanisko Trdlo, Pizza Vice City, Destan, Milkey, Sweet Look and Zeshko Kompirche.

Visitors can enjoy a rich selection of burgers, tacos, sushi, gyros, pasta, focaccia, baked potatoes, ice cream, rice pudding and many other savoury and sweet delights. The idea is for everyone to find something they love, share dishes with friends and discover new urban flavours.

Local bands and DJs will keep the energy high throughout all five evenings. South Park, Ringtones, Dopamine, Marbel and Acoustic Division will perform live, while Milan Serafimov, Aleksandar Jordanov, Janko Petel Javashe, DJ Marko, DJ Vaso, DJ Rizinski, the DJs from Fluere, DJ Guardian, DJ Ficho and Sure Shotz will provide entertainment before and after the concerts.

Alongside the food and music, every evening will feature entertaining activities, including speed-eating competitions, quizzes and audience challenges hosted by Bombakis.

The festival will be open daily from 5:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The event is sponsored by the Municipality of Aerodrom and held under the patronage of the City of Skopje, while Lions in Move and Café Mambo are behind its organisation.
